Festival on Bishop lawn features Hawaiian arts

The two-day Native Hawaiian Arts Market and Keiki Art Festival gets under way at 9 a.m. today at the Bishop Museum's great lawn. Dozens of artists will be featured in artwork displays. Also: Hawaiian performing arts, demonstrations, workshops and food booths featuring island favorites.
This event, sponsored by the Bishop Museum and PA'I Foundation, marks the culmination of Maoli Arts Month. Tickets: $5 kama'aina and military (with ID); 847-3511.
