Suspect in store robbery arrested after fleeing scene
Police arrested a 47-year-old man suspected of robbing a Pearl City business about 8:55 p.m. Wednesday.
Two women who work at the business said a man came in armed with a handgun and demanded they fill a bag he was carrying with cash, police said.
The robber took the money and ran from the store, at which point police were notified.
Patrol officers responding to the robbery report found the suspect running from the business' location and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
The gun and the money were recovered, police said.
