NBA: Cavs pick up option on Leon Powe

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers have exercised their option on reserve forward Leon Powe for next season.
Powe played in just 20 games in his first season with the Cavs after coming back from knee surgery. He averaged four points and 3.1 rebounds.
General manager Danny Ferry praised Powe for working hard to get back on the court and expects him to return next season "better than ever."
Powe, 26, signed as a free agent with Cleveland last summer after spending three seasons with Boston.
