CINCINNATI — Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones got a second workout with the Cincinnati Bengals, one of a handful of teams he's been contacting to try to get back into the NFL.
One of Jones' agents told The Associated Press that the Bengals hadn't made a formal contract proposal following Jones' workout Tuesday in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Enquirer first reported that Jones was back in town for the second time this offseason, trying to impress the team enough to sign him.
Jones has been arrested repeatedly during his career. The Cowboys released him after the 2008 season, and he didn't play last year.
Two years ago, Bengals general manager Mike Brown brought back receiver Chris Henry, who also had been arrested repeatedly, to give him a chance to change his life around.
