UH's Sisto is WAC Pitcher of the Week

University of Hawai'i righthander Matt Sisto, who pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings against Nevada Saturday, has been named Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced today.
Sisto, a sophomore from Anaheim, Calif., allowing just four hits while striking out five in the Rainbows' 1-0 victory over Nevada in the second game of a doubleheader sweep. Sisto retired 12 of 13 batters between the second and sixth innings, posting four three-batter innings between the third and sixth innings.
Sisto is 4-4 with a 6.56 ERA this season.
New Mexico State's Leo Aguirre was named WAC Hitter of the Week.
