When Foodland stores were preparing for the opening of the new Foodland Farms store in 'Aina Haina, they wanted to put together something special. What they came up with is a sybaritic combination of silky 'ahi and creamy avocado: an avocado 'ahi poke.

It is a hit with customers, so it's available now at all Foodland and Sack 'N Save stores. I took some home and tried it on hot rice. Ho! Broke da mout'! I'm planning to make my own version next time my grandpa's avocados are ripe.
