After being dominated by California earlier in the evening, the University of Hawai'i women's softball team bounced back to trounce Lipscomb, 8-0, in the Chevron Spring Fling Tournament at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

Kelly Majam and Melissa Gonzalez each hit solo and two-run homers, and Kaia Parnaby pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Rainbow Wahine (20-10) in a game shortened to 4 1/2 innings due to the mercy rule.

Abby Keese had two hits for the Lady Bison (20-5).

Earlier, Valerie Ariotio pitched a four-hitter with a season-high 17 strikeouts and no walks, and also hit a two-run homer as 13th-ranked Cal (21-5) thumped UH, 5-0.

The Golden Bears also beat Lipscomb, 3-0, behind Jolene Henderson's four-hit, 11-strikeout pitching.
