State senate confirms Ginoza, Browning to judicial posts
The state Senate yesterday voted to confirm Lisa Ginoza, the first deputy attorney general, as an associate judge on the state Intermediate Court of Appeals.
Ginoza has worked as a deputy attorney general since 2005. She was a former partner at the law firm McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon, where she specialized in insurance, personal injury, commercial and contract disputes, employment litigation and product liability.
Ginoza graduated from Kailua High School,Oregon State University and the University of Hawai'i-Mānoa's William S. Richardson School of Law.
The Senate also confirmed District Family Court Judge Robert Mark Browning as a Circuit Court judge on O'ahu.
