Soul Savior Film Festival seeking entries

The Soul Saviour Film Festival is accepting entries for short films to be shown this fall.
The festival showcases original short films, music videos, experimental videos, and short video segments based on an ongoing, supernatural drama series called “Soul Saviour,” now five years old.
Local filmmaker Jeff Katts is the project’s creator.
“Soul Saviour” is the story of regular people who are chosen by God to save human souls. Though the subject matter deals with different aspects of religion, the “Soul Saviour” project is a work of fiction and serves more like a ongoing, local “soap opera,” Katts said.
Films accepted will be shown at the Ward Consolidated Theatres on Sept. 22. The deadline is August 16.
One grand-prize-winning film will be screened on a California TV station.
The festival is also looking for local artists, including photographers, painters, sculptors and illustrators, who would like to display work on the day of the festival.
