NFL: 49ers QB Smith to serve as Super Bowl analyst for BBC

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith will serve as a guest studio analyst for the BBC on Super Bowl Sunday.
Smith will be breaking down the Feb. 7 game between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.
He'll also be discussing his own team's upcoming Oct. 31 game against the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium. It's the fourth straight year the NFL will stage a regular-season game in the British capital.
Smith says he's excited to be going to London to represent the 49ers and the NFL.
