Flip Nicklin, regarded as one of the world’s premier whale photographers, will next month give a presentation titled “Among Giants, My Life with Whales” at the Waikiki Aquarium.

The free event is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
Nicklin, National Geographic’s marine photographer and co-founder of Whale Trust, has spent a career under the waves, capturing phenomenal images of whales and dolphins. He will discuss the changing view of whales and how science and the National Geographic’s programs and images have fostered a shift in our perception of these amazing marine mammals.
The aquarium’s Natural Selection Gift Shop will be open, with Nicklin’s books for sale; and there will be an opportunity to have books signed by the author.
