Hundreds rally against cuts in Hawaii health, human services programs

Several hundred people rallied at the state Capitol this morning against further budget cuts for health and human services programs.

Several hundred people held a rally at the state Capitol this morning to protest further budget cuts to health and human services.
Among the advocacy groups present were:
PHOCUSED (Protecting Hawaii’s Ohana, Children, Under Served and Disabled).
Partners in Development Foundation, Ka Paalana.
Child and Family Services.
Catholic Charities.
Parents and Children Together.
Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii.
Special Education Center of Hawaii.
