Springing for Color

If we had to sum up spring fashion trends in one word, it would be: color. From high-impact headbands to psychedelic statement shoes, color is everywhere — and it can be used to brighten your wardrobe affordably.
The spring/summer 2010 runways were riots of color, with bold graphic and floral prints, striking primary color panels and color-saturated accessories.
Designers, it seems, are feeling optimistic. After a shopping excursion around Honolulu, we're feeling optimistic too.
It's clear that many designers are making an effort to bring their costs down. We saw designer dresses comparable to those with $200 price tags on them last year selling for $125 this year, for example. And they were not on sale.
We found lots of affordable additions that can add pizazz to a spring wardrobe without breaking the budget. Here are a few.
