The 10th annual Star Poets Contest is accepting entries from students in grades three to 12.

The contest is sponsored by Windward Community College and Hawaiçi Council for the Humanities, with support from the Atherton Family Foundation and the Windward Arts Council.
The event includes a new online teaching resource plus a Humanities Prize for poems that explore local identity and memory or evoke a vivid sense of place.
Entry forms are available at windward.hawaii.edu/poets. The deadline to submit entries is Jan. 29.
