Kauai warehouse fire causes $250,000 in damage
A fire last night at a Port Allen warehouse bay leased by Mana Divers on Kauai caused an estimated $250,000 in damage to the warehouse space and its contents.
Twelve fire fighters and rescue specialists from the Hanapepe, Kalaheo and Lihu'e stations responded to the 7:30 p.m. alarm and the fire was brought under control at 8 p.m. and fully extinguished at 9:58 p.m.
There were no injuries in the fire, which is under investigation.
An adjoining bay sustained minor smoke damage.
