Got a story about doing business in Hawaii? Turn it into an Advertiser column
By David Butts
Local News Editor
Got a story to tell about doing business in Hawaiçi? Want a little more room than a 140-character tweet and a bigger audience than 400 Facebook friends? The Honolulu Advertiser’s business section is looking for guest columnists to write about their experience making a living in the Islands.
It’s a great way to get your name and your thoughts in front of the biggest daily audience in the state. The column will appear in the Sunday paper on the cover of the business section with your photo. The column will also be posted on honoluluadvertiser.com and become part of The Advertiser’s new business blog.
If writing is not your forte, no worries. Our editors will work with you to turn your tale into a readable 500-word article.
This is not paid advertising. It’s free. All that is required is that you have a compelling story to tell.
It is a part of the paper’s editorial content. As such, we will decide which columns to use and how to edit those columns. This is a rotating column, so each columnist writes only one column. Every week we have a new columnist.
