Man arrested in assault on officer during fight in Waikiki

Police arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting a law enforcement officer early Sunday in Waikiki.
According to a police report:
An officer saw several men fighting in an alleyway near the Big Kahuna Sports Bar on Kuhio Avenue at 3:20 a.m. While the officer was breaking up the fight, the man assaulted him.
The man was arrested and was still in custody Sunday morning.
