Briefing Wednesday on future of closed school site
The city is planning a meeting next Wednesday at 6 p.m. to brief people on proposed uses of the closed Wailupe Valley Elementary School.
The meeting will be held in the school library.
The Department of Education returned the property to the city after it closed the school last May.
Wailupe Valley had 78 students in the last school year. Its students were transferred to nearby 'Äina Haina Elementary School.
The city in December began posting a security guard at the school after vandals marked some doors with graffiti.
