Fire destroyed a house at 2182 Round Top Drive today, leaving nothing more than a few beams standing.

Tenant Kai Cowell said she had been gone from the house just 10 minutes when she was alerted to the fire and returned home.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said. Loss was estimated at $625,000 to the building and $25,000 to its contents.
