Mayor Mufi Hannemann today will dedicate a six-lane Kapolei Parkway extension, opening another roadway between Ewa and Kapolei.
The dedication is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the intersection of Kapolei Parkway and Renton Road.
In addition, the state Department of Transportation is poised to open the new North-South Road in mid-February.

That will give motorists a new approach to the H-1 Freeway.
