The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Hawaii remains unchanged from last week at $3.57, according to AAA Hawaii's Weekend Gas Watch.

The statewide gas price remains the highest in the nation, 7 cents a gallon ahead of second place Alaska.

AAA said Honolulu's average price was $3.46, unchanged from last week, 9 cents more than last month and $1.08 more than at this time last year.

Hilo's average was $3.61, two cents more than last week, 13 cents more than last month and $1.03 more than at this time last year.

Wailuku's average was $3.91, unchanged from last week, seven cents more than last month and $1.17 more than last year.
