HONOLULU — Continental Airlines is planning to commence year-round service from Honolulu to the Marshall Islands.
The once-a-week flight, scheduled for Saturday nights, is to begin June 5.
The flights will start in Honolulu and stop in Majuro, the capitol of the Marshall Islands, before continuing on to Guam.
Continental currently offers the route on a seasonal basis.
The airline says the new flights will offer better connections for passengers flying from Japan to Guam, and then on to Majuro, Honolulu and points on the mainland.
