Pros Samuel Cyr and Nick Mason share the lead at 142 after the second round of the Mid-Pacific Open.
Cyr shot a 72 yesterday at Mid-Pacific Country Club, while Mason fired a 70.
Pro Dean Wilson and first-round leader, amateur Bradley Shigezawa, are tied for second, two strokes off the pace at 144.

BYUH, CHAMINADE IN PACWEST FINAL
The Brigham Young-Hawai'i and Hawai'i Pacific women's tennis teams will meet today in the final of the Pacific West Conference Championships at Glendale, Ariz.
BYU-Hawai'i beat Dixie State, 5-0, yesterday at the Paseo Racquet Club. HPU beat Chaminade, 5-0.
BASEBALL
HPU SWEEPS GRAND CANYON ON ROAD
Hawai'i Pacific scored five runs in the sixth inning to beat Grand Canyon, 9-4, and complete a sweep of a Pacific West Conference doubleheader yesterday at Phoenix.
Sean Winston drove in two runs for HPU in the seven-inning game.
In the nine-inning first game, Bas Nooji batted 3 for 4 with a homer and four RBIs as HPU beat Grand Canyon, 8-6.
HPU is 27-9 and 19-3. Grand Canyon is 25-19 and 15-11.

CHAMINADE SWEEPS BYU-HAWAI'I
Kasy'e Lalau pitched a four-hitter with three strikeouts and Brandi Sasaki hit a two-run homer in the first as visiting Chaminade beat Brigham Young-Hawai'i, 3-0, to complete a sweep of a Pacific West Conference doubleheader yesterday.
In the first game, Sasaki and Kristine Mihara both drove in two runs as Chaminade beat BYU-Hawai'i, 10-5. Chaminade's Morgan Necaise drove in three runs.
Chaminade is 17-31 and 13-15. BYU-Hawai'i is 4-30 and 4-22.
