Get your vinyl fix at Hungry Ear Records, where Record Store Day — a celebration of independent record stores worldwide — will be in full swing 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Kailua store.

The event, in its third year, includes release of exclusive titles on vinyl and CDs available only through participating stores by artists such as Jeff Beck, the Flaming Lips, Elvis Costello, The Rolling Stones and Sonic Youth.

Hungry Ear Records has all of its used records and CDs on sale today, with used classical and opera CDs at 50 percent off. Hundreds of selected records and CDs are on sale for $1 each. New York metalcore act Emmure, playing at Anna Bannana's tonight, is expected to stop by to greet fans and sign autographs at noon.
