Bookmobile bargains at May 1 sale
Bill's Bookmobile, a Friends of the Library of Hawai'i year-round bookstore, holds its First Saturday Sale — held on the first Saturday of every month — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 1 at 690 Pohukaina St. in Kaka'ako. (Regular hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.)
May specials include travel, foreign language, religion and children's books, and cook books, for half price; paperback fiction for 50 cents each; and romance novels and video tapes — all you can fit in a shopping bag for $5.
