3 men indicted in Wahiawa home invasion

Advertiser Staff

Three men involved in an armed home invasion in Wahiawa March 30 were indicted today on charges including robbery, kidnapping, burglary and weapons offenses.

The suspects are Shane Reginald Flores, 38, Robert Logsdon III, 31, and Floyd Orsborn, 28.

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Vickie Kapp said when the indictment was returned that Flores and Orsborn were armed with handguns when they entered a Kilea Place house containing four individuals.

As Flores pointed a gun at the head of one of the residents, a woman in the home "got her gun and started to shoot when she saw the suspect pointing a gun at her husband's head," Kapp said.

In an exchange of gunfire, the woman's husband was shot in the elbow, Orsborn was seriously wounded and Flores also was shot.

Another resident in the home wrestled Orsborn's gun away from him, said Kapp.

Flores and Orsborn fled the scene in a car driven by Logsdon, according to Kapp.

The prosecutor said Flores has been arrested 18 times and has been convicted of crimes including assault, kidnapping and robbery. Orsborn has no previous record but Logsdon has been arrested 30 times, with convictions for burglary, theft and auto theft, according to Kapp.

Police arrested the three men shortly after the shooting in the getaway car on California Avenue in Wahiawa.

A backpack in the trunk of the getaway car contained methamphetamine, cocaine and a digital drug scale, said Kapp.
