A 38-year-old Mililani Mauka man was arrested yesterday after his wife told police he threatened her with a shotgun, a rifle and a hunting knife.

The wife, 38, told police she was arguing with her husband about 3:30 a.m. when he used the various weapons to hold her against her will and threatened to kill her.

Police were contacted later in the morning and arrested the husband around noon in Kapolei on suspicion of kidnapping, first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a family or household member.
