The Ala Moana Hotel is celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering residents and visitors a special room rate of $40 per night.

For 40 consecutive days from April 22 through May 31, Ala Moana Hotel will offer 40 hotel rooms from its collection for only $40 per night.

The bookings are non-refundable and each requires a three to five night stay.

"Offering 1,600 room nights for $40 per night at our high-caliber hotel provides an unprecedented value for our guests and a fun way for us to thank customers for 40 years in the hospitality industry," said Marty Milan, director of sales and marketing for the Ala Moana Hotel.

"We intend to continue extending our exceptional hospitality, celebrated amenities and fresh decor at our unique and convenient location for another 40 years to come," Milan said.

The ala Moana Hotel is physically connected to the world's largest outdoor shopping center. Guests can stroll to the Ala Moana Center for shopping then return and relax at the hotel's facilities, enjoy the sundeck and swimming pool or use the fitness center.

Dining options include the Plantation Cafe for breakfast and Tsukasa Japanese Food and Royal Garden Chinese Cuisine for lunch and dinner. Rumours nightclub is located within the hotel.
