3.8 quake recorded on Mauna Loa

A magnitude-3.8 earthquake struck the southeastern flank of Mauna Loa this morning, but no tsunami was generated, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
The earthquake was recorded at 7:38 a.m.
The U.S. Geological Survey said it was centered two miles west-northwest of Pahala, 11 miles north-northeast of Naalehu, 18 miles east-northeast of Hawaiian Ocean View and 44 miles southwest of Hilo.
