iPad leaves Hawaii buyers giddy

Excitement was high today as Apple's iPad went on sale in Hawaii and nationwide.
Only a handful of people were in line at Kahala Mall shortly after 5 a.m., but the line grew as the morning wore on.
Eventually, dozens of people were patiently waiting in line at Kahala Mall for their turn in the Apple store.
The iPad, bigger than an iPhone but smaller than a laptop, can be used to surf the Internet, read digital books, watch videos and play games.
As soon as they had their iPads, giddy owners tried out their apps.
Analysts say Apple could sell more than 7 million of the computer tablets worldwide this year.
The device sells for $499 and up.
