For someone who admits that he doesn't win a thing, Honolulu's Chris Agena can now say he basically won twice in accomplishing an unprecedented sweep during Week 1 of The Pigskin Picks.

Agena, 41, a postal worker and University of Hawai'i alum, won the weekly prize of a trip for two to Las Vegas and a $100 gift card from Papa John's pizza. The player with the best record, including tiebreakers, when comparing print and online submissions is declared the winner.

Agena's print ballot was 15-0, thanks to BYU's upset of Oklahoma. His online record of 14-1 (picked OU on this one) tied him with 19 other online players who had 14-1 records. But his tiebreaker — total offensive yards in the UH-Central Arkansas game — was tied with one other for the closest.

"Usually, I don't win anything," said Agena. "I'm the guy who played fantasy football and came in last."

Agena said he didn't employ any strategy in his picks. He just went by what "you hear or see on TV. You know college football, the one you think will win, they lose. That BYU (game), (I said) just chance 'em."

He said he's been playing the game for only a few years because it "just adds more excitement to the game."

A father of four young children, Agena said he has been to Las Vegas just once, "maybe around 10 years ago."
