Tropical storm Linda moving west off Baja California

Tropical storm Linda showed no change in intensity today as it moved west, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Linda had maximum sustained winds of 60 mph with some higher gusts and was moving west at 5 mph. Forecasters predict the storm could turn toward the west-northwest and then the northwest with a decrease in forward speed.
The storm, forecasters said, could become a hurricane within a day or two.
At 11 p.m. Hawaiçi Standard Time, Linda was about 1290 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California.
