Workshops on legislative process to be held in West Oahu
The Legislative Reference Bureau's Public Access Room staff will hold two free workshops in West Oahu on how to move through the nuances of the legislative process — from choosing a bill sponsor, to drafting legislation, to writing and giving testimony at hearings and finally securing support for a bill.
The meetings will be on Sept. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the KS Community Learning Center at 87-2070 Farrington Highway and Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wai'anae Public Library.
