Peter Graves, known for his roles in the 1980 film spoof "Airplane!" and the TV series "Mission: Impossible," has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 83-year-old actor attended the Los Angeles ceremony yesterday with his wife, Joan, their children and grandchildren.

Minneapolis-born Graves made his debut in films in the early 1950s, gaining fame as team leader Jim Phelps on the CBS TV series "Mission: Impossible" from 1967 to 1973. He won a Golden Globe for the part in 1971.

His comedic turn as deep-voiced airplane pilot Captain Oveur in "Airplane!" cemented his celebrity status.

WINFREY, GATES AMONG OBAMA VISITORS

Celebrities Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and Denzel Washington and heavyweights from the financial services and high-tech industries were among those landing visits with President Obama or others at the White House during Obama's first months in office.

The White House late yesterday afternoon released a partial list of people who have visited since Obama took office in January.

Among the guests: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; Labor leader and Obama supporter Andrew Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union; and tennis star Serena Williams.

The White House visitor records are online at www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/disclosures /visitor-records.

TENNIS STAR AGASSI ADMITS TO METH USE

Andre Agassi tells People magazine he used crystal meth periodically for "a year or so."

In his upcoming autobiography, Agassi admits he used crystal meth in 1997 and failed a drug test — a result he says was thrown out after he lied by saying he "unwittingly" took the substance.

The eight-time Grand Slam champion tells People that he felt it necessary to be as candid as possible in the memoir. Excerpts published yesterday reveal Agassi wore a hairpiece that nearly fell off at the 1990 French Open, became jealous during ex-wife Brooke Shields' appearance on "Friends," and how Shields put a photo of Steffi Graf — now married to Agassi — on the fridge for motivation to get in better shape before their wedding.
