High surf advisory in effect for Oahu, Moloka'i, Maui, Ni'ihau and Kauai

The National Weather Service has issued high surf advisories for O'ahu, Moloka'i, Maui, Ni'ihau and Kaua'i.
Wave are expected to rise to 14 to 18 feet on north- and west-facing shores of Ni'ihau and Kaua'i, and to 12 to 16 feet on north-facing shores of O'ahu, Moloka'i and Maui by mid-afternoon today.
The advisories are in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.
