GAS COMPANY
The Gas Company has announced four management appointments:
Micheal LaPorte, vice president, Oahu Division, will oversee 59 percent of the company's commercial and residential customers statewide.
Mustafa "Moose" Demirbag, Maui general manager, will oversee operations on Maui and Molokai. He joined TGC in 1994 as an operations superintendent.
Marvin Min, Hawaii general manager, will oversee East and West Hawaii. He began with TGC in 1985 as a gas and alternative energy sales representative.
Glen Takenouchi, to Kauai general manager. He has been Kauai branch manager since joining TGC in 1998. He is former engineering supervisor for Kauai Electric.
AMERICAN COLLEGE OF TRUST AND ESTATE COUNSEL
Mary Jane Connell, a partner and member of the tax, estate planning and wealth management practice group of Carlsmith Ball, has been appointed a regent for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a national organization of lawyers. Connell is the third attorney from Hawaii to serve on the board.
TD FOOD GROUP
TD Food Group has promoted Jeffrey Lawton to general manager of Pizza Hut in Enchanted Lake. A 16-year veteran of TD Food Group, he most recently served as assistant restaurant manager.
TD Food Group Inc. owns and operates the Hawaii Pizza Hut Franchise, Taco Bell, Long John Silver's and A&W All American Foods Restaurants.
ARCHITECTURAL WOODS
Bobbie Kane will provide market development services for Architectural Woods Inc. and be their representative for Pionite High Pressure Laminates and Decorative Surfaces.
