Jack Johnson to perform Friday at Stop Furlough Fridays rally

Singer/songwriter Jack Johnson is going to provide the entertainment at the Stop Furlough Fridays rally taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Friday at the State Capitol.
“We’re thrilled he’s joining our cause,” said Jo Curran, one of the organizers of the rally. “He said he’s doing it for the kids. It’s fantastic to have him.”
According to the news release announcing Johnson’s particpation, there will also be a variety of speakers, food and water stations, a keiki tent, a march and petition signings available.
Gomes Bus is providing free transportation to the rally from schools around the island.
