The Hawaii International Film Festival and Tesoro Hawaii are partnering to offer special Sunset on the Beach events on Queen’s Surf Beach in Waikïkï today and tomorrow, featuring free movies and live entertainment.

Today’s lineup starts with music from Emke at 4:30 p.m., followed by a special HIFF program at 6:25 and the documentary “Saving Luna” at 6:40. Tomorrow, Makana will be onstage from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., followed by a HIFF program at 6:25 p.m., then two local films will be shown: the animated short film “Rip Smart” and the documentary “Pidgin.”
