If you’re in the mood to joust with a knight or dress up like Queen Guinevere, head over to the Honolulu Academy of Arts tomorrow for Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday.

The Society of Creative Anachronism will be helping create a Renaissance Faire atmosphere with swordplay and real medieval armor; the Lego Enthusiasts Association of Hawaii will be showing off castles built from plastic bricks and everyone is invited to dress up Arthurian-style, check out demonstrations on chainmail-making, calligraphy and yarn spinning or create templates artist-in-residence Allison Uttley might use to make an inflatable mylar sculpture.
The family event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is the last time to see the exhibition “Hokusai’s Summit: Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji” for free.
