UH coach Dave Shoji wins 1,000th volleyball match

The University of Hawaii women's volleyball team made its coach, Dave Shoji, wait, and sweat, before putting away New Mexico State, giving Shoji his 1,000th victory tonight at Stan Sheriff Center.
The four-set victory gave Shoji (1,000-175-1) became just the second women's volleyball coach to reach the 1,000-win plateau, joining UCLA's Andy Banachowski.
