Big Island police seek help in identiyfing debit-card theft suspect

HILO — Hawaii County police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an theft case.
The man allegedly stole a newly-issued debit card and used it at various locations in East Hawaii — including an automated teller machine that took his picture.
The man is described as in his mid-20s to early 30s, between 5 feet 6 and 5-9, with a thin build.
Surveillance photos show him wearing a dark baseball cap and a T-shirt that says “I Have No Off Button.”
Police ask that anyone with information on his identity to call Officer Jo Aoki at 961-2213 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.
