KSSK-FM radio hosts Perry and Price will emcee a lineup of entertainers and friends who will be paying tribute to the late Elissa Josephsohn with the free concert “A Hard Act to Follow.”

The concert will be held Oct. 25 at Hawaii Theatre and is a tribute to Josephsohn’s life and legacy. The longtime publicist and performing arts enthusiast died from ovarian cancer on Aug. 20.
“A Hard Act to Follow” is being Burton White, Artistic Director of The Hawaii Theatre and Richard Vida, Broadway actor. Both were among Josephsohn’s closest friends.
“Burton and I are in the process of designing a show we hope Lisa would have loved, fast paced, high energy, filled with amazing talent both adult and youthful,” Vida stated in the news release. “All the performers loved and were loved by Lisa and they have chosen numbers with special meaning for her. Lisa brought so much fun and entertainment to so many.  We hope our celebration in song and dance will evoke her ‘larger than life’ spirit.”
The performers confirmed to date (in alphabetical order) include:
— Army Community Theatre, performing a number from “Curtains”
— Ballet Hawaii, variations from the ballet, “ CATS”
— Don Conover, playing a special arrangement of Another Opening of Another Show
— Cathy Foy, in a number from “Mamma Mia”
— Dita Holifield, National Country Recording Artist
— Shari Lynn, singing “Before the Parade Passes By”
— Guy Merola, of “The Jim Nabors Christmas Show”
— Rex Nockengust, N.Y. cabaret entertainer, performing “What I Did For Love”
— Shooting Stars, Diamond Head Theater’s Youth Group
— Jade Stice and Matthew Pederson from the Original Broadway cast of “Miss Saigon”
— Richard Vida, Broadway stage actor, singing “Change in Me”
 Former Advertiser columnist Wayne Harada, along with Eddie Sherman, will share anecdotal memories of their friendship with Lisa, both personal and professional. Video tributes will include one produced in Paris by Onofrio of “Slava’s Snow Show.”
Seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
