Investigators say fire at Kalihi auto glass shop was intentionally set

Honolulu fire investigators have determined that a fire that damaged a warehouse at a Kalihi auto glass company last week was intentionally set.
The fire began outside Ace Auto Glass at 2250 Kamehameha Highway shortly before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. It spread into the building, causing $100,000 in damage to the structure and $75,000 in damage to the building’s contents.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said today the case has been referred to police.
