WSN Inc., an independent agriculture research firm based in Captain Cook, on Hawaii Island, will conduct surveys Oct. 7-9 at the International Coffee Festival in Bangalore, India, to determine the interest of consumers in Kona coffees.

The Kona Coffee Project Booth will offer samples and disseminate questionnaires and survey results and analysis will be presented to the USDA and Hawaii growers in the first quarter of 2010. The India project, which follows consumer surveys conducted in May and June, will seek to determine the awareness of Kona coffee in world markets.
