12 more Red Cross volunteers leaving for Samoa tomorrow
An additional 12 Red Cross volunteer nurses and mental health workers, including two from Hawaiçi, will deploy to American Samoa on a military transport flight tomorrow morning from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point.
The other 10 volunteers are from California.
The latest group of volunteers will join other Red Cross volunteers already on the ground conducting outreach to families who lost loved ones in Tuesdays earthquake and tsunami, the Red Cross said.
