NFL: Giants QB Manning has bruised heel
Associated Press
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning bruised his heel in the fourth quarter against Kansas City on Sunday and left the game.
Manning seemed to be limping very slightly just moments before connecting with Hakeem Nicks on a 54-yard catch-and-run scoring play that put the Giants up 27-3. A team spokesman said he was not sure which heel was bruised.
David Carr replaced Manning on New York's next series.
