The seventh annual Splendor of China Festival and Trade Show in Honolulu features an 82-panel exhibit commemorating the 30th anniversary of U.S.-China diplomatic relations.
The two-day event opened today at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Gov. Linda Lingle says she’s pleased to celebrate the continued collaboration of Hawaii with China and their growing trade and tourism relationship.
The Spendor of China is presented by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. It is sponsored by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, the Hawaii Tourism Authority and the city of Honolulu.
The exhibit has travel through the United States since being launched in Beijing in January. After Hawaii, it will be permanently installed at The Carter Center in Atlanta.
