Red Cross leadership team heading to American Samoa

Twelve Red Cross volunteers from across the country are scheduled to leave Honolulu this afternoon to lead the organization’s relief efforts in American Samoa.
An additional 30 volunteers from the Islands will deploy over the next few days, the Hawaii State Chapter of the Red Cross said today.
Dozens of Red Cross volunteers from American Samoa are already working to distribute food, water and supplies.
