NFL: Falcons’ Ryan leaves game with toe injury
Associated Press
ATLANTA — Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has left Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a right big toe injury.
The team said Ryan’s return is questionable.
Ryan left the game after the team’s first offensive series. He showed no sign of the injury while in the game.
Ryan received attention from trainers on the sideline and tested the foot before backup Chris Redman entered the game on the team’s second possession. It is Redman’s first action since 2007.
