Police arrested a 26-year-old Makiki man last night after they went to his home to investigate a reported burglary and found several firearms that had been reported in another burglary case.

The patrol officers who were sent to the man’s home reported finding a loaded rifle, loaded shotgun and a loaded high-caliber revolver.
After checking, the guns were found to have been reported stolen during a burglary in May.
Police also reported finding a large amount of marijuana at the man’s home and arrested him on suspicion of detaining stolen property and third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug.
